Websites We’ve Built
Kevin’s Painting Company
Design : Logo : Branding
This client has a residential painting and wood restoration/refinishing business located in Simi Valley, CA.
We have been managing this site for over 15 years. Each client is unique and has specific likes and dislikes. Based on the response we receive from our intake form the “idea” or vision is created. In this case, the client was very specific about what he wanted and as a result the look and feel of the site perfectly suits his needs. At his request, we have also provided theme/holiday oriented logo styles and animations that are active only for the season. The next step for this sites evolution is to transition the website to WordPress.
Matt’s Handyman Services
Design : Logo : Branding
This client’s site was built on WordPress. He runs a handyman business in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho.
This client was less specific about what he wanted so that allowed us to create a design we felt fit his needs. He provided branding colors and we just took it from there. He also decided to retain us for managing the site so that he could focus on the demands of the business and the work – very important. He takes a more active role with the social media aspects of the business but engages us from time to time for assistance.
Seven Story Music
Design : Logo : Branding
This is one of our personal sites. Erin writes and records her song lyrics and uses this website to share it with family and friends. Her forte is writing intimate songs about life – her own and any story that touches her heart. Each song is unique both in its story telling and its delivery. This website demonstrates the use of audio plugins in a simple, but visually stimulating presentation and perfectly aligns with the personality of its owner. Feel free to have a listen :).
joggoon
Design : Logo : Branding : Content Conversion
Another personal website that was built in 2009. Ken created this website as a personal challenge to see if he could build a configurable book reader interface. How does it work? Book content is retrieved from public domain sources and run through a custom conversion script written in PHP to format the content for joggoon. Each book’s search keywords are stored in a flat PHP database file which supports joggoon’s search and the browse page data listings.
Book content (chapters, table of contents, and overview) are static text/html files created during the conversion process and are retrieved and loaded into the book reader determined by URL query parameters.
The blog was added in 2018 and is built on a default WordPress theme (twentysixteen) using a child-theme to style it using the joggoon design. This blog serves as an example of what can be done to customize blog design – all blogs don’t have to look the same.
Kenneth M. Douglass
Design : Logo : Branding
This is Ken’s personal website. He uses it as his online business card and resume – a glimpse of his work history and writing aspirations. It’s a simple HTML/CSS/JS single-page website.
